Beach type: Hippy / family
Benirras is a nice, medium-sized beach in northern Ibiza, surrounded by mountainous cliffs toupeed with pine trees. The beach is a mixture of sand and pebble with a few round boulders bathing as permanent fixtures in its shallow waters. The water is clear as glass. It recedes slowly with the tide. And it is all the more ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
In the afternoon, it is also a popular spot for boats to achor. Just as well, it is a spectacular place for watching the sunset. Sunday evening, there is a notorious hippie beachfest, which is worth visiting in its own right. There are two restaurants known for their delectably fresh fish dishes. We prefer Elements. Additionally, there is another, small snack bar and cool beach club. Makes for an ideal day retreat for the family!
